The Highlander brings to life Scottish
History in an entertaining and informative presentation. Hear the story
behind many of the great periods in Scottish History, told by a
Highlander who was there. He will tell of his experiences with Murray
and Wallace at Stirling Bridge on 11th September 1297 or with the
Jacobite army as he followed Bonnie Prince Charlie to within 130 miles
of London and the long road home to Culloden on the 16th April 1746.
Dressed in the
traditional costumes of the times and carrying authentic weapons and
equipment, the Highlander will allow you to gain a true sense of the
past, and learn how life in the Highlands has changed since those
momentous events.
